Salon01

At Salon 01, we proudly support a variety of community and not-for-profit organizations through product and monetary donations and volunteering. Some of the charities include Toys for Tots, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Indiana Children's Wish Fund, Carmel High School, Carmel Clay Schools, Carmel Dad's Club, Noble Industries and many, many others. At Salon 01, we have also created our own signature fundraising event. Each year, we hold a cut-a-thon where our stylists donate time to raise money for a chosen charity. Guests may attend this event and for a small donation of $25, may receive a haircut from any of the talented staff. Be assured that 100% of these funds go straight to charity. Caring for others and sharing goodwill is a keystone of our management philosophy and we take pride in our community involvement. What is an Intercoiffure Salon? We are proud to be a member of the prestigious Intercoiffure America/Canada, which is an organization founded in 1933 to bring together the most talented people in the hairdressing profession to exchange ideas and set standards for the beauty profession. Some of the most elite salons in the world, including Alexander of Paris, Sergio Valente of Rome, Vidal Sassoon World-Wide, and Frederic Fekkai of New York are an integral part of Intercoiffure. Salon 01 owner and Creative Director Micki Stirsman was a presenter at the Intercoiffure 2000 World Congress. She attends regular meetings of Intercoiffure in New York and other cities around the world to stay in tune with "what's happening" in the salon profession.
