Samson Compounds (Pvt) Ltd is one of Sri Lanka's biggest polymer based compounding manufacturer with ISO 9001, 2008 certification. We are a member of DSI Samson Group of Companies which has diversified business interests including Footwear, Tyres, Food grade rubber products, Trading and Information Technology. DSI group was founded by late Mr D. Samson Rajapaksa in the year of 1962 and has grown in to become one of the largest privately owned business conglomerates in Sri Lanka with a workforce of over 10000. Principal business activity of SCOM is the supply of compounds for technical and Non-technical applications made up with a range of polymers such as NR / SBR / BR / NBR / HNBR / CR / EPDM / SILICON / EVA. Depending on the requirement we can meet with REACH/BfR/FDA/RoHS/ or any other customer compliance requirements. Our compounds are used in range of applications from industrial tyres to other moulded products including for food contact items. We supply compounds to many leading export sector rubber products manufacturers in the country at present indicating that our compounds meet international standards and are competitive. In addition to being a leading compound supplier, we are also the largest manufacturer of rubber and EVA sole sheets in Sri Lanka. Flip flops manufactured with our sheets are now been exported to North America, Europe, Middle East and Australia. We produce rubber/EVA sole sheets and other related components to meet REACH and any other customer specific compliances. We have a well-established Technical Development Centre staffed with qualified polymer technologists. They are continuously involved in development work aimed at meeting customer requirements. When it comes to product testing, the company obtains the services of internationally recognized institutions such as Bureau Veritas, SGS, TUV and SATRA.
