SAMART TELCOMS PLC. is an affiliate of Samart Group established on July 18th, 1986 with 5 million baht registered capital. In 1998, SAMART TELCOMS was listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand with current registered capital of Baht 600 Million, and Market capitalization of Baht 4,980 Million at end Jan 2007. The company provides services pertaining to engineering telecommunication system. At early stage, the Company was awarded to install satellite telecommunication system for 4 airports in Bangkok, Haad Yai, Ubon Ratchathani and Chiangmai. SAMART TELCOMS conducts information technology and telecommunication services via an array of telecommunication networks. Services provided also include turn-key projects in total ICT solutions and services from design, installation and maintenance for both government and private sectors. In year 2005, the Company was awarded by TOT, a contract partner, to install Soft Switch equipment to serve for an array of services in the airport in Suvarnabhumi Airport of Thailand. In addition, the Company was also awarded for the expansion of IP connecting equipment to support VoIP system service in Suvarnabhumi terminal in the following year.
