Sanamöbel

Sanamöbel was founded in 1962 -ifyoumaysay so- in the heyday ofthe communist era inCentralEastern Europe,with the taskof producinghospital bedsand relateditems. During that period, around 50 enthusiastic employees produced the hospital beds under the supervision of Mr Mohacsi Lajos. Mr Mohacsi, with some 40 years'experience, has been responsible for sales to the healthcare sector. At present, you can hardly find a hospital in Hungary without a Sanamöbel bed. Since 2009, the current owner, Joost Vandendriessche hasstarted an impressive investment program of around 6 million €. It all started with the restructuring of the existing buildings. Two years later, a new building of 2000 m² rose and is being used as a raw materials warehouse and as a place for existing and new machines. At the end of 2013 another 2500 m² of buildings rose for accommodating a powder coating equipment, an assembly hall and the expedition hall with loading docks. Finally, in 2014, almost all machinery has been refreshed and top of the bill, is the brand new processing center for pipes and open and closed profiles. This machine is a "bevel cut" laser cutting machine (with angled cut) and offers unprecedented possibilities for the design and realization of furniture components. Beside this, the company is also renowned in surface treatment and powder coating. The human capital is of course a very important factor in our company. About 120 employees take care of realizing the company philosophy every day. The main department involved in transforming the philosophy into products is our engineering department. Our modern hardware and up-to-date software enable our engineers to cooperate with the designers of our customers and to make the right material choices, to bring shape and functionality into harmony, to consider the production procedures and to calculate prices.
