C4 Church

C4 Church is first and foremost about the Mission of Jesus Christ. We are an evangelical church who desire to live our lives based on the teachings of the Bible and in joyful relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We are a member church of the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada (AGC). For details, refer to our Missions & Beliefs. What time are the worship services? Every Sunday, 10:00 am and 7:00 pm in the main Auditorium. During the 10:00am service, there are age-specific programs for kids from age 3 months through grade 8. The 7:00 pm service targets young adults (age 18-29). All ages are welcome, but child care is not offered. Our program for high school students runs concurrently to the 7:00 pm service. How long are worship services? Worship services typically last about 75 minutes. Following the Sunday morning service, people are invited to enjoy connecting to each other and our various program information in the Lobby. On many Sundays there is an invitation to stay in the auditorium for extended prayer or worship, though this is completely optional. Children need to be picked up by parents/guardians immediately at the close of the morning service. Where do I take my children? We welcome your children! During the 10:00 Sunday morning service, there are age specific programs throughout the building for children from 3 months of age through grade 8. For new families with children, we have a Family Welcome Centre in the kids' area of the building. Welcome materials and personnel are available to assist you and to make your family's visit safe and fun! Note that our 6:00 Sunday evening service targets young adults and offers no child care. What if I have a baby? C4 is bustling with babies! We have an excellent nursery program and facilities, well-staffed with caring volunteers. Nursery care is available to you even on your first visit to C4. Come to the Family Welcome Centre in the kids' area to receive instructions and register your child. Of course, if you wish to keep your baby with you during the service, you are welcome to do so. Is there a dress code? No. Our desire is for people to feel comfortable "as they are" when they come to worship. We have people who attend in every style of clothing, from more formal attire to completely casual. What is the music like? We have three rotating worship leaders who lead us through God-centered, band led, upbeat and very lively worship music. This is usually a combination of current songs and a few classic hymns. You are welcome to stand, sit, kneel, dance, sing or observe as you feel comfortable participating. What is the teaching like? Our main teacher/preacher is Pastor Jon Thompson, who holds a Masters of Theological Studies and a Doctorate of Missiology. Pastor Jon presents Bible teaching with humour, wisdom and boldness. Other pastors or special guests are invited to speak throughout the year, and all C4 teachers take care to address the diverse audience of seekers, skeptics, strugglers and believers. If I'm new to C4, will I be centered out?
