San Juan Surveying, LLC, specializes in all aspects of land and property surveying for San Juan County in Washington. We offer a full time staff, with more than 95 years of combined surveying experience in all of San Juan County. We work on any of the islands in San Juan County, both ferry and non-ferry serviced, and welcome the opportunity to travel to the outer islands using our company boat or by plane charter. San Juan Surveying was started in 1972 by John L. Thalacker, PLS. In 2011, Mr. Thalacker's apprentice, Robert J. Wilson, acquired the company upon John's retirement. We stay up to date on the regulations of San Juan County's land use and development codes and maintain positive associations with permit coordinators, town and county staff, architects, engineers, realtors and contractors. At San Juan Surveying, LLC, we utilize the latest in surveying technology including RTK (Real Time Kinematic) GPS, Total Robotic Stations, LiDAR and CADD programs. These technologies enhance our ability to remain on time, on budget and deliver a superior quality of work.
