Sanko, the mother company was founded in 1943. Sanko is a leader in its field with biggest ring and O/E yarn capacity in Turkey. Sanko is one of the World' s major yarn producers. Plants have over 700,000 spindles and O/E rotors for yarn production. The total production area is 1,000,000 m of which 550,000 m is enclosed. Sanko obtained the right to produce and use the logos on produced yarn with its certificates of Supima, Cotton USA (cotton grown in the United States) and Egyptian Cotton. Belcore certificate from Schlafhorst is given to Sanko, for its hig quality Open End yarns. Skal International accredited Sanko for sustainable textile production of natural fibres. All Sanko plants are ISO 9001:2000 certified.
