At San Rafael Mitsubishi we offer a reputable franchise dealership, competitive consignment fees, and a qualified and knowledgeable sales staff. Below is valuable information regarding how our consignment program works. Advertising: We currently are advertising on Cars.com, Vehix.com, Carsdirect.com, Autotrader.com, Craigslist.org, San Rafael Mitsubishi website, and Auto weekly (if your vehicle fits the profile for this publication). We are also looking into advertising with Autobytel.com and Automart.com, along with the Marin IJ. The advertising companies that we use may be changed without notification to the consignee. Fees: We charge $250 per month to cover advertising and lot expenses (i.e. keeping the vehicle clean). When we sell your vehicle you will receive 90% of the selling price. Repairs: Because we are a reputable dealership, vehicles that are below our safety standards must be repaired prior to showing your vehicle to a prospective buyer. All consigned vehicles MUST be inspected and smogged (unless year of vehicle indicates otherwise). Once inspection is complete the consignee will be notified of any necessary safety repairs. All repairs MUST be authorized by the consignee. There will be NO un-authorized repairs.
