The Sanriku Railway

The Sanriku Railway Company is a semi-private railway company serving the coastal region of Iwate Prefecture in northern Japan. The railroad was very hard hit by the disaster, but is determined to rebuild and has a strong desire to help their community recover as well. A member of IRC, Mr. Atsushi Tomite, is also an employee of the Sanriku Railway Company and was able to set up this collaboration.
