SATS Ltd., formerly Singapore Airport Terminal Services Limited, is an investment holding company. The Company's other activities include rental of premises and provision of management services to related companies. The gateway services segment provides airport terminal services, which include airfreight and ground handling services, aviation security, aircraft cleaning, technical ramp handling and third-party logistic services. On February 3, 2014, it incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary Cemerlang Pte. Ltd. In February 2014, Sats Ltd completed the acquisition of 41.65% interest in PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CAS). In April 2014, its subsidiary, Singapore Food Industries Pte. Ltd. incorporated a company SG IPF Pte. Ltd. In July 2014, its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Primary Industries (Qld) Pty Ltd divested its 51% interest in Urangan Fisheries Pty Ltd.
