SCAD Software

SCAD's core business in application design and development has been developed over more than a decade. The SCAD solutions framework was initially conceived in 1997 to facilitate the design, development and implementation of an ERP system for a leading, multi-million Rand South African IT company. Successfully implemented, this solution provided the foundation for further development of the framework and the formation in 1997 of Andy Fensham & Associates (AFA), the former name of the company that has since been renamed SCAD Software. The company's development methodology and technology framework has enabled the successful delivery of customised software solutions for companies such as De Beers, Mustek Electronics, Anglo American, Sappi Fine Papers, Alpha Cement, and a number of leading international banking institutions on an international scale. This experience has also enabled SCAD to develop a suite of proven applications that are available for rapid commercial deployment under the SCAD brand.
