School CNXT was founded by several entrepreneurial technology experienced parents. As parents ourselves (combined we have 10 children), we found it very frustrating to not have the same type of electronic access to our parent network as we have in our business and social networks. The antiquated means of typing in all new contact information or searching through a paper directory leaves many parents frustrated. We have built SchoolCNXT as part of a platform of products that will make staying connected to your school community and interacting with the community much easier and more productive. The cost for schools to develop a tool to solve this problem can be very high and hard to get approved in this time of cost cutting. However, staying connected to your school community is of vital importance. School CNXT is a no or low cost solution to this dilemma that empowers parents with the tools of the new social media.
