SCOMADI

Scomadi Ltd is a British Company registered in 2005 and a partnership between Frank Sanderson of Scooter Innovation Ltd and Paul Melici of PM Tuning Ltd who between them have over 60 years of experience in the scooter industry. They have created the Scomadi brand and range of scooters based on the iconic Italian scooters of the past. The project initially began with Scooter Innovations modern automatic engined hybrid conversions a number of years ago, which were produced as Series 4 and Series 5 derivatives. On going from these, Scooter Innovation produced several prototype concept scooters, with the intention to eventually mass manufacture "A Modern Classic". PM Tuning in conjunction with Scooter Innovation took the project forward and proceeded after ten years of product development, to register the necessary IPR to protect their research and development, future investment and created the new "Scomadi" brand. During the development period Scomadi have also attained several British and a World Record with their research and development prototype vehicles. The Scomadi Turismo Leggera 250 was initially released with 10 limited edition carbon fibre models. Due to demand a further 20 hand built custom painted 300 cc models were made available. These have resulted in an oversubscribed full order book. The intended purpose of this limited edition range was to raise the public awareness of the Scomadi brand and product. This has been very successful, resulting in contractual agreements with a high quality Far East manufacturing company and an established European motorcycle distributor. The scooter has been further developed to extend the range of models to utilise the same chassis and bodywork, which now includes a 50 cc and 125 cc in addition to the forthcoming flagship model. By utilising the expertise and services of a recognised motorcycle manufacturer the costs have been substantially lowered from the original cost for the flagship model, enabling the scooter to be available and compete in a much wider market. All models to be available worldwide through an international dealer network.
