Scout was founded in 2009 as an independent oil and gas operating company. In 2012 Scout completed the fundraising process for Scout Energy Partners I, an upstream oil and gas fund for institutional investors. In 2014 the firm raised Scout Energy Partners II. Scout is actively sourcing oil and gas investment properties for its current fund.
