Scrappers Gym

Scrappers Gym offers support and opportunities to disadvantaged young people and low income communities. The gym provides direct support and opportunities for any young person aged 13 - 24 years who wants to work out, put something back into their community, gain a qualification or focus their time and energy into positive activities. We offer a range of boxing and fitness related activities in a local setting, including: Coach development and education Personal development programs for excluded pupils and those not in education, training or employment Accredited training and academic qualifications We aim to engage young people and raise their aspirations, channel potential and enable young people to impact positively on their own communities using education, training and work based initiatives in a supportive and welcoming environment effecting life-long change. The Scrapstore is working in partnership with, Swindons ex professional boxers Paul Rogers - Silver Medalist at the Commonwealth Games and Andy Brown - two times British Kick Boxing Champion to set up Scrappers Gym. Paul and Andy are sessional workers providing training in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for people to come together to work out and improve their health and fitness.
