Schlosser Development is a real estate investment, development, and property management company headquartered in Austin, Texas. Since 1985, Schlosser Development has been involved in the development, redevelopment, ownership, and management of our properties, which include more than 2,000,000 square feet of commercial property. Here are some of our milestones: 1986 - Schlosser Development is started in Austin, Texas by Brad and Andy Schlosser. Their first project was the design, development, and marketing of the San Gabriel. 1989 - Highland Pavilion opens. It is Schlosser Development's first large retail center. The center housed the first General Cinema in Central Texas. 1992 - Schlosser Development opens Plaza de Laredo in Laredo, Texas. The suburban center is 260,000 square feet. The tenants include Home Depot, Office Depot, Outback Steakhouse, and Chili's. 1995 - The 225,000 square foot, suburban McAllen Pavilion opens. Schlosser Development surpasses the 500,000 square foot mark. 1996 - Schlosser begins to crystallize vision of being an urban developer and starts to assemble land parcels in west downtown Austin for the Market District project.
