SealCath, LLC is a medical device company located in South Carolina with its technology licensed by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). The company was founded in 2013. The technology is a unique double balloon catheter that achieves an optimal seal. Our office is located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. SealCath has partnered with a highly reputable catheter manufacturer to make it's catheter. The catheter will be manufactured and label per FDA regulatory requirement for SealCath. SealCath will be responsible for marketing, sales, and customer service. This catheter has the capability to improve the efficiency, efficacy, and productivity of various procedures in the medical arena. This catheter will be the first marketed device for the treatment of intussusception. SealCath will initially target radiologist performing intussusception reduction procedure followed by pediatric surgeon, gastroenterologist, internist, and family practitioner as well as hospitals. The catheter can also be used with the following procedures: barium enema, colonic washout, and virtual colonoscopy.
