From the time our first ship was in operation there has been a continuous drive for innovative shipping concepts combined with high quality shipmanagement. Seatrans started in the North Sea and has gradually expanded into deep-sea trades. Development of chemical tankers with independent cargo tanks with Teflon lining, specially designed cargo pumps and cargo lines are the hallmark of Seatrans´ innovation. The Trans Fjell development was the result of this concept. Our two 20.000 tonners are sophisticated fully IMO 2 chemical-tankers with the added feature that 50% of the space can alternatively load chemical gases such as C4s. We were also the first carrier in the world to redesign 2 chemical tankers to handle hydrogen peroxide in bulk.
