Founded in 1996 by Eloy J. Torrez, SEI Group Inc. is a minority owned engineering firm that helps design, build, and maintain complex infrastructure, security, and energy systems for a range of government and corporate clients. With more than 80 employees, including 41 engineers, generating more than $25 million in annual revenue, we provide an array of engineering and architectural services both within the United States and in more than 17 countries around the world. SEI Group has experienced consistent growth since its launch, and has been recognized annually among the top 500 businesses by Hispanic Business Magazine for the last ten years. In 2006, SEI graduated from the SBA 8(a) program and is now classified as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB). Moreover, as a result of our established and proven management policies and processes, our quality management system was certified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. Our most significant client by far is the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), and, in recent years, our work for the DOD has undergone a remarkable shift away from more traditional engineering services to technical support and evaluation of energy efficiency designs, renewable power generation, and resource management technologies. In short, over the past five years we have been at the cutting edge of helping make the U.S. military greener.
