An engineer with a market focus and extensive global industry experience will become the new CEO of Sekab. Mikael Fränckel will lead the company towards a new era of commercialization and development. Sekab is one of Europe's leading biochemistry companies. Every year, Sekab produces and delivers biochemical products and biofuels to customers in Sweden and abroad. Demand is constantly growing, and in the coming years production will increase and include more products. In addition to its current best-selling products, Sekab is a leader in innovative solutions in green chemistry and has the technology to produce forest-based ethanol. Sekab is currently working to scale up and commercialize that technology. Sekab's Board of Directors has, after an extensive process, recruited Mikael Fränckel as the new President and CEO to lead this new phase in the company's development. - The timing is perfect for Sekab's offer, but we need to sharpen our focus and accelerate our pace to take advantage of that opportunity. We are happy that Mikael Fränckel wants to take on this task.
