Since 2009 Sentient has specialised in developing interactive 3D virtual environments for the resources sector by leveraging leading-edge gaming technology. The company's point of difference is its ability to use a single 3D environment for multiple use cases including the creation of simulations, data visualisations and interactive training modules. Companies which Sentient works with include Woodside, Fortescue Metals Group, Rio Tinto and Accenture. Managing Director Doug Bester said the two months since winning Energise had demonstrated the need for Sentient's services.
