Sendsteps

Sendsteps was founded in 2008 by Steven Blom and Mike Coumans. Since 2001, they have been working on, what at the time still was, a student project. It has now grown into to what Sendsteps is today: the market leader in mobile interaction during presentations. Back in the day, at student parties, text messages were sent to a big screen, to enhance engagement and fun. This quickly became a success, but Blom and Coumans weren't satisfied to stop there. They wondered if their technique could be used at other gatherings. Then one day, during a presentation they attended they have got an idea. Blom and Coumans noticed that the audience wasn't involved at all.
