Sertoma Camp Endeavor

Sertoma Camp Endeavor is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. Camp runs for two weeks every summer, in Dundee, FL; but preparing for camp requires year-round effort. We serve Deaf/HH children, their siblings, and CODAs (children of Deaf adults)- ages 7-17. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive camp that uses American Sign Language as our primary mode of communication. The majority of our campers and staff are fluent in ASL - those who aren't, learn greatly. Our camp program strives to enhance the growth and awareness of our campers by taking their attention off their phones and instead interacting with each other. We are very fortunate be located on 30 beautiful acres of Floridian landscape that we utilize for a variety of activities, from crafts to water sports. The integration of Deaf/HH and hearing campers and staff, all of whom have ties to the Deaf community, is a unique characteristic of our camp. All who attend Camp Endeavor have the opportunity to learn about themselves and each other in an informal and empowering setting.
