Shell Federal Credit Union
Shell Federal Credit Union was established in 1937 by 40 employees of Shell Oil Company. The ground work occurred January 25, 1937 in the Shell Oil Refinery Clock House where a fee of $.25 was set for those who wished to become a member. Their purpose was not to gain profit or be charitable, but to give service to members through leadership that is committed to keeping the credit union financially sound, trustworthy, and respected.
