We design, supply, install and maintain prime power and standby power generators, combined heat and power systems (CHP systems) and uninterruptible power supply systems. We help keep companies of all sizes, across every industry and in any UK location (no matter how remote) fully functioning in the face of mains power failure or the on-going absence of available mains electricity. From our humble beginnings selling diesel generators in 1982, a number of key accomplishments over the years saw our reputation and experience shape the business to its current format as "The UK's Leading Technical Experts in Standby Power, Uninterruptible Power Supplies and Combined Heat & Power Systems". By 1987 our then name, Scorpion Power Systems, was a byword for quality standby and prime power generation and in 1989, we signed our first contract to supply the British Army. In 2003 we acquired a National HV and LV switchgear company, offering a more complete service and in 2004, we launched Power Call, the UK's first and only emergency generator call-out system. In 2008, shentongroup launched Power Therm CHP systems to the UK market and we're now the sole UK and Ireland authorised distributor for Tedom, the leading manufacturer of CHP systems. Following further acquisitions throughout 2008-9, by 2010 we merged Scorpion Power Systems, Merlin Power Management and Power Call to become Shenton Global LLP, trading as shentongroup, bringing our customers improved service and care. Although we've grown significantly over the years, we're still a family-owned and run business that brings the best of family-run business ethos; genuine, caring customer relationships and pride in our work - to a big business environment.
