SHOWA SHINKU CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of thin-film coating equipment for electronic component production. The Company has three business segments. The Quartz Device segment provides various quartz devices, including vacuum deposition systems, sputtering systems and vacuum etching systems. The Optical Device segment mainly multi-layer evaporation systems and optical ion-plating systems for the opto-electronics industry. The Electronic Component Device segment provides clear conductive film deposition systems for liquid crystal displays, oriented film deposition systems for liquid crystals and others.
