To the Minister of Transport. We the residents of Shrewsbury and surrounding areas are against the introduction of Congestion Charging in our town centre. We are concerned that Shrewsbury is one of only ten places identified for a trial of Congestion Charging and believe it will put our town at a huge disadvantage. Congestion Charging will place an additional burden on our already-hit businesses, will drive away investment from the town and will damage tourism.
