Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (Sidpec) is an Egypt-based joint stock company engaged in the production of polyethylene raw material (high and linear low density). The Company's products cover different applications, such as film, blow molding, injection molding, and roto molding, which are used to produce plastic bags, heavy duty sacks and agricultural film, blow molded containers, pallets, boxes and others. Sidpec's annual production is 300,000 tons of ethylene, 225,000 tons of polyethylene, 10,000 tons of Peotone and 50,000 tons of gas. The main shareholders of the Company are Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Co. (20%) and Misr Bank (21%).
