Silver Lake Research Corporation develops rapid African swine fever test Silver Lake Research Corporation in Azusa, California, has developed a simple, quick and accurate test for African swine fever (ASF), called PenCheck, according to a company release. The test provides results in about 20 minutes and can be done with the pig still in the pen. PenCheck has just undergone a clinical validation study at Kansas State University, which found it is a great way to detect symptoms of ASF. It can be completed in four easy steps.
