SIMA S.R.L. (Industrial and Machinery Service Antezana) is located in La Paz city, Bolivia; it was established on the 23rd of November 1981 by Jorge Antezana Guevara, initially with the name of SEI (Industrial Electro-Mechanic Service). At the beginning, the business was dedicated to provide services to the industry in the maintenance and set up of new factories; amongst these industries were snack factories, millers, glass factories, pastry factories, textiles, plastic factories, biscuit factories, dairy plants, etc. In 1995 a new initiative dedicated to the production of high technology packaging machines and systems with low cost maintenance is born, SIM PACK ® is the brand for packaging machines developed by SIMA, with their main advantage, to not need compressed air, in this way we exempt the user from employing and maintaining air compressors. In 2002 new SIMA products were launched into the market: metallic cable pipelines and electric panels.
