What You'll Do: *Convert website designs to HTML using CSS, JS, jQuery *Translate text and photos into layouts while maintaining accurate design standards *Conceptualize and research royalty-free images *Update website content using Umbraco CMS, Wordpress CMS, or HTML pages *Develop user interface specifications through analysis of client interviews, research and functional requirements *Work with the team to provide concepts, layouts, and innovative design ideas along with the creation of wireframes, storyboards, and proof-of-concept mockups *Provide support with HTML email campaigns What You'll Bring to The Role: *Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS and Responsive Web Design *Proficiency in JavaScript and JQuery *Previous experience with Wordpress -- Customizing themes, templates, plugins, and providing updates to stay current *Solid understanding of fundamental design concepts such as composition, color, typography, etc. *Knowledge of Photoshop and interface design standards and best practices *Excellent written and communication skills to clients and teammates *Ability to work independently and thrive in a small agency environment *Conceptualize and developing creative, unique ideas *Highly organized to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently and meet required deadlines *Maintain our high level of quality standards, procedures, and techniques What We Offer: *Comprehensive healthcare coverage *401k with employer match *PTO with holiday schedule *Opportunity for bonuses *A friendly and casual work environment (we don't mind if you wear jeans to the office and hope you'll join us during our quarterly company parties) *Supportive and transparent management that works hard to ensure you are engaged and developing professionally *Conveniently-located office, just steps from the Irving Park Brown Line station (the trains sure are less crowded when you aren't heading downtown during rush hour!)
