Good Work

The Good-Works Company exists today because of the extraordinary vision and ideals of Mike Fechner and the ministry of H.I.S. Bridgebuilders. The ministry of H.I.S. Bridgebuilders believes that the gospel of the kingdom is a redemptive reality that extends to the development of the whole person: his economic good, his spiritual growth in obedience to Jesus Christ, and his creative gifts applied in service to others. We refer to this as human flourishing. In other words, we believe that the inauguration of God’s rule and reign on earth as achieved through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is first and foremost about setting right all that sin has set wrong in this world. As the for-profit subsidiary of H.I.S. Bridgebuilders, The Good-Works Company seeks to expand the ministry’s impact upon the economically and socially disadvantaged through the provision of good work as a means of poverty alleviation, restoration of human dignity and the promotion of flourishing communities.
