SJ Electric was founded in 1995 with a staff of four serving the needs of one client…the New York City Housing Authority. From our original roots, we soon grew into one of the most respected electrical contractors in the metropolitan area. In 2002, we moved our headquarters to Lynbrook, Long Island. Today, SJ Electric employs a highly talented, versatile and responsive office staff along with more than 200 field electricians. We serve clients in all five boroughs as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties. SJ Electric has licenses and agreements with both IBEW Local 3 and IBEW Local 25 and has a very sound line of credit, insurance and bonding.
