Sjöfartsverket is a Swedish agency to promote favorable conditions for shipping in Sweden. Sjöfartsverket is responsible for fairway maintenance, pilot age, ice breaking, hydro graphic surveys, production of nautical charts, navigation information, and air and sea rescue.
