The SKS Group is Northern Norway's second largest producer of renewable energy, producing 1,800 GWh of hydroelectric power from 12 power plants in the region, equivalent to the consumption of 90,000 households. SKS is also, alone or with other companies, involved in a number of commitments that could significantly increase production of renewable energy in the region. SKS is an active energy trader and has built up a solid power trading and administrative environment in Fauske. We are also the region's third-largest supplier of electricity in the retail market. The Group is also a majority owner of a construction company with expertise in the construction and maintenance of power lines. The Group is also heavily involved in the development of renewable energy. Salten Kraftsamband is a corporation owned by municipalities and utilities in the county of Nordland and Troms Kraft og Energi AS. Salten Kraftsamband AS is the parent company of SKS Group. The Group is headquartered in Fauske, and has around 160 employees.
