Skt Petri

Skt. Petri is taking an extra responsibility for the environment. The goal is to make it more environmentally friendly to stay at a hotel than to stay at home. To reach this goal, the hotel is aiming to reduce the use of energy and water, less waste, minimizing the use of chemicals, and to ensure that transportation to and from the hotel is kept at a minimum. Skt. Petri is certified by the ISO 14001 Environmental measuring system, which is working on systemizing and making the environmental efforts at the hotel as effective as possible. Working with this also means that the hotel is committed to continuously improve the environmental results and to reduce the ecological footprints from the hotel. One of the local support groups that the hotel is involved in, is «Den Rullende Kagemand». It is a project by the organisation Mødrehjælpen (Mothers Aid - www.moedrehjaelpen.dk ) Since 2015 the hotel and the employees have arranged birthdays for children from families in need. The hotel offers a wonderful setting for the event, and the employees offer their own time volunteering for this. In this way, we help to organize and ensure that the children celebrate an unforgettable birthday with their friends.
