The firm was conceived in 2005 by two young, dynamic legal minds with innovative and fresh solution to challenging legal issues. Due to South Africa's growing economy, we believe that, there is a need for skilled professionals to offer value services to the ever changing market. The firm was founded on African values and beliefs of ethics, humanity, growth and prestige. The desire to translate these values and beliefs to reality has resulted in the establishment of this legal entity in 2008 that is driven by professionalism and excellent service. Initially the firm was aimed at making legal services accessible to both individual and corporate clients, whilst keeping to our commitment our clientele has gradually changed. This was the result of the specialized services that SMS Attorneys offers at reasonable rates. To date SMS Attorneys has served a diverse range of companies and institutions. Whilst the firm still plays a significant role in access to justice in the narrow sense, it has turned focus to the empowering of our population economically by moving into corporate and commercial practice to serve both private sector and government structures. Our labour law and debt collection division provides a peace of mind and adds value to companies in that we mitigate their employment related risks and ensure that employees are delivering to the highest possible value to the organization at the most efficient cost by ensuring that processes, policies and best practices are in the place.
