Sierra Nevada Children's Services

Sierra Nevada Children's Services was established in 1978 under the name of Western Nevada United Services Council. The founding members believed that a mutual association through the council increased awareness of community needs in the areas of health, education, welfare, and recreation. The specific purpose was to bring together non-profit agencies and associations in Nevada County to meet common goals.
