Sharjah National Oil

Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) was established in 2010 by an Amiri decree of Sharjah's Ruler, and is tasked with exploration, production, engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of the Emirate's energy assets. In addition to the newly discovered Mahani gas field, SNOC owns and operates three onshore gas fields, a gas processing complex and 2 hydrocarbon liquid storage and export terminals and network of gas flow lines and production pipelines. The Sajaa Gas complex has been delivering gas to the Northern Emirates for the last 38 years and is the hub of nearly all gas pipelines connecting the Northern Emirates and Dubai. While SNOC is a relatively young organization, it carries within it more than 40 years of heritage and experience in the oil and gas business devolving from the previous holders of the Sharjah Concessions.
