Solis Power was founded with a simple vision: realize the potential of renewable energy to create a more sustainable future for our planet. So in 2007, the company set out to do just that. With a small team of highly experienced, entrepreneurial managers and technical professionals, Solis Power set about identifying promising sites for the development of solar power generation facilities. Over the next several years, Solis Power, working in partnership with some of the biggest names in solar energy including BP Solar, SunEdison, Enfinity, Proener, and Windwarts, developed over 150 megawatts of 'shovel-ready' projects across central and southern Italy. Today, Solis Power is building upon its experience as a leading developer of renewable energy projects in Europe to pursue global opportunities in power facilities planning, development, and operations. With an expanded focus that now includes Asia, the Pacific Rim, and South America, Solis Power is actively developing opportunities to become an Independent Power Producer providing off-grid and on-grid renewable energy power for communities and industrial complexes, which currently rely almost solely on expensive and polluting fossil fuels.
