Sooner State Bank
As one of the areas oldest financial institutions, Sooner State Bank and its predecessor, Bank of Tuttle chartered in 1903 &a; The 1st National Bank of Konawa, chartered in 1905. With the Banks unique past like being robbed by Charles Pretty Boy Floyd on November 5, 1931; and merging with Sooner State Bank in 1992, the future of the bank seems earnest. Sooner State Bank knows how important the history of their bank is, so they plan to incorporate the past with the future. Sooner State Bank has a long history supporting the communities and local organizations and continues to do just that. They understand, the stronger the community the stronger the bank. We have served our communities for over 100 years and we look forward to the approaching 100 years.
