We are excited to announce the acquisition of bestsmile, the dental startup and market leader in teeth correction, offering an affordable alternative to conventional braces with its transparent, 3D-printed aligners. Over the last three years, bestsmile has been growing at a strong pace: there are now 36 practices throughout Switzerland and 320 employees who are working towards bestsmile's mission of making it possible for everyone to have a beautiful smile at a fair price. With the acquisition the founding team leaves their managerial roles but remains active in advisory capacity. The new management team is formed by Michael Wendt as CEO, Christoph Kohler as CFO and Dominic Schär as CRO, who are coming from within bestsmile's team. Sparrow Ventures invested in bestsmile in 2019 and will remain responsible for bestsmile within the Migros Group. Read the News here
