The SPCK

SPCK was founded in 1698 and aims to help people to understand and to grow in the Christian faith. We work to support and develop the knowledge of people who are already Christians and to interest and inform everyone about the Christian message. We are best known for publishing a wide range of Christian books. Many of these can be found in bookshops everywhere, but some we give away directly to those who need them, such as prisoners and student ministers who could not otherwise afford them. We also produce e-books and other digital resources, such as podcasts and an introduction to prayer on this website. Although we are an Anglican (Church of England) organisation, we support Christians of all traditions. Find out more about:
