Swat Participatory Council

SPC in accordance with its mission completed different projects with respective government line agencies, national and international development partners' i.e USAID , UNDP , GIZ , WFP and SDPI . The organization carried out different activities and undertook special initiatives. These were directed to address issues related to Governance, environment, political empowerment, disaster management, health, dialogue , Peace Building, conservation of natural heritage and conducted Surveys as well. Seminars and workshops were organized and international days were observed. The organization signed MOUs with different government line agencies to implement programs. The organization leads a network of community based organizations in Swat district and has evolved a social capital comprising community activists in all over the Malakand division. SPC facilitated relief process in response to recent conflict induced crisis and continues to support rehabilitation process as part of the United Nation cluster system in the health, Agriculture and Community Restoration. Recently, the organization carried out strategic planning exercise setting vision, mission with research and coordination as main areas and special projects to meet the specific needs of the communities.
