Spectrum Center Schools and Programs
Spectrum Center offers rigorous academics engaging technology and strong behavior support systems in a highly innovative education environment. At Spectrum Center, students who have Asperger's syndrome, autism, emotional disturbance, intellectual disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders, behavior challenges and other special needs receive the support they need to return to their district school or transition to life after high school. Spectrum Center's multi-disciplinary team includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts, special education teachers, related service specialists, and vocational coaches who provide a continuum of services in one location. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the foundation of Spectrum Center's approach. This commitment to ABA helps students advance academically and behaviorally, and streamlines the process of developing Individual Education Programs (IEPs). Many educators and clinicians join Spectrum Center because they want to work in an environment where the practice of ABA is implemented - and valued. Professional development is encouraged and supported, and Spectrum Center staff have the opportunity to participate in research, presentations and professional publications. Spectrum Center is known for the quality of its research-based, data-driven programs and earned the highest rating given by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
