Founder Christina York watched as care providers tried to distract her child and remove an object lodged in her child's ear. Efforts were to no avail- terrified, Christina's child was strapped to a papoose board and sedated. Care providers had done all that they could, and yet the net effect was that child, parent, and care team were all shaken from the experience.
