Spencer Burford Group Pty Ltd (SBG), based in Brisbane, Queensland, manufactures and distributes innovative, design driven stationery - under the brand Spencil - and contemporary workwear to retail outlets throughout Australia and New Zealand. We believe that business shouldn't be all about stress and balance sheets. Our philosophy and practice is to support businesses who engage their customers, care about the products they sell and play an active role in the communities they work in. We aim to give our retailers a distinct product alternative with respect to design and quality. Educational and office stationery, in many cases, is functional - but bland and uninviting. SBG stands out of the crowd by launching new, colourful and design driven Spencil stationery ranges every 6 months, as well as promoting the work of contemporary Australian and New Zealand artists on the covers of many of our notebooks. We are very aware of the damage manufacturing can have on the environment and we continue to work with our international and local partners to source sustainable materials and help reduce our carbon footprint.
