About La Sportiva: From 1920 - 1940, Narciso Delladio handcrafted wooden clogs and leather boots for many lumberjacks and farmers of the Fassa and Fiemme valleys in Dolomites, Italy. After the war, the demand for boots increased, obliging Delladio to hire new workers, and the good name of "Calzoleria Sportiva" crossed the boarders of the valleys. Now, La Sportiva produces boots and shoes for outdoor activities, including mountain climbing, mountain running, trekking and skimountaineerging.
