Mr. Christian Ortlieb - a young entrepreneur - decided to manufacture spotlights, as their supply on the polish market was poor at that time. The first production facility was located in the family home of the owner and the staff consisted of just 6 employees. Quickly it turned out, that the original location couldn't accommodate such a rapidly growing company. The relocation to a neighboring town - Bierawa was inevitable. Moreover, Cisek has been regularly overflowed and the company was in constant danger. In 1997, so called "Flood of the century" completely destroyed company's stocks and production site, only one year after the SPOT Light was grounded. The expansion of storage and production facilities in the new location in Bierawa has been carried out continually since 2008. Currently SPOT Light has: - 6,200 sqm of warehouse space (9,200 pallet places) - 2,500 sqm of production area, - 1,600 sqm of office space. SPOT Light Group employs approx. 160 people, most of whom are women from the surrounding area. SPOT Light's range includes today more than 3,000 products - from crystal chandeliers, through wooden and classical lamps to modern design. Its customers include the largest retail chains, wholesalers and lighting showrooms in the country and abroad; SPOT Light exports its products to 46 countries worldwide. SPOT Light in the future will concentrate on further development of its own production, in particular models made from Polish, certified wood, concrete and metal.
