Springwell School

Springwell School is a special school for children with severe, moderate, profound and multiple learning difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD). There is one specialist class for children with an ASD and 1 specialist class for children with BESD. It is a co-educational provision with a 2 - 11 year old intake of children. Our children are predominantly from the Hartlepool area although children do attend the school who live in other Educational Authorities. At the present time we have 61 children in the school including dual-placement pupils.
